Bekefi is a Hungarian-born DJ and producer forged in London’s underground electronic scene. Before taking the decks, she was a professional basketball player; a background that shaped the discipline, focus and precision she brings to her music today. Beyond the decks, she is also a producer and curator of her queer party series and label SOAK. The project has cultivated an inclusive, community-led dancefloor rooted in the sounds and culture of the underground and led to a year-long SOAK residency at fabric London for 2025 -2026.

 

Bekefi’s sound draws from percussive house that is always hedonistic and oozing with tension. Her music leans into NY House, acid and electro that always comes together in a beautifully euphoric way.  Inspired by the energy exchanged on the dancefloor, she approaches DJing as both a music enthusiast and a devoted digger, always searching for records that move bodies and shift emotions. Her sets are shaped by the spirit of movement and the radical history of house and electronic music, a culture rooted in resistance, community and queer expression, a space where she feels deeply at home.

 

Her growing presence has seen her play standout sets across key clubs and platforms including Renate Berlin, Pikes Ibiza, fabric London, KOKO Camden, The Cause, and Village Underground, as well as the Mixmag x Burn tour in Budapest and in Ibiza. Alongside her club work, she holds a residency at Roses in East London and has delivered a series of notable mixes, including a Bicep-supported mix, appearances on The Lot Radio in New York, and vinyl-only sessions for Foundation FM, Keep Hush, RAMA Forever Berlin and Berlinciagay. 

 

Alongside her DJ work, Bekefi continues to build momentum as a producer. Upcoming releases include a remix EP alongside Hannah Holland and Maya Jane Coles, as well as a forthcoming project with J. Aria. With a return to Ibiza with Mixmag on the horizon, alongside further vinyl-focused performances across Budapest, Lost Village, Manchester and Keep Hush Cyprus, she continues to expand her reach while staying rooted in the culture that shaped her.
